If you are looking for Korean fried chicken in Carrollton, Puradak is one of the spots that stands out for both its flavors and presentation.
I recently had my second visit to Puradak Carrollton, and this time I ordered everything to-go to enjoy it at home.
Even without dining in, the overall experience still left a strong impression.

To-Go Experience and Premium Packaging
One thing that immediately stood out was the packaging.
The to-go box felt much more premium than what you would expect from a typical chicken place.
It was clean, well-designed, and gave off a surprisingly luxurious vibe.
Honestly, it almost felt like opening a Prada bag rather than a takeout order.
This kind of attention to detail really makes Puradak Carrollton different from other chicken spots in the area.

What I Ordered at Puradak Chicken Carrollton
For this visit, I went with two boneless chicken options.
I ordered the chili mayo again since it was my favorite from the first visit.
I also decided to try the corn so amazing flavor to see how it compares.
Trying both at the same time made it easier to see the difference in flavor and quality.
Chili Mayo: Still a Reliable Favorite
The chili mayo was just as good as I remembered.
The flavor was creamy with a slight kick, and it stayed well-balanced throughout.
It’s one of those menu items that feels easy to recommend because it consistently delivers.
The boneless chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, which made every bite satisfying.
If you are visiting Puradak Carrollton, chili mayo is definitely one of the safest and best choices.

Corn So Amazing: A Bit Underwhelming
The corn so amazing flavor, however, was a bit disappointing.
It wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t really stand out either.
The flavor felt a bit unclear and didn’t leave a strong impression compared to the chili mayo.
The corn that came with it also felt somewhat bland.
It lacked the sweetness and richness that you would expect from a corn-based side.
In comparison, the corn from Wingstop felt much more flavorful and satisfying.
Because of that, this option didn’t really match my personal taste.

Cheese Balls (Service Item)
Just like my first visit, they also included cheese balls as a service item.
I personally thought the cheese balls were pretty good.
They were warm, slightly crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside.
However, one of my friends who tried them didn’t really enjoy them as much.
It seems like this item might depend more on personal preference.

My Final Verdict on Puradak Chicken Carrollton
Overall, this second visit to Puradak Carrollton was still a positive experience.
The premium to-go packaging made the meal feel more special than expected.
The chili mayo once again proved to be a strong and reliable choice.
On the other hand, the corn so amazing flavor didn’t quite meet expectations.
If I were to order again, I would definitely stick with chili mayo or try other flavors instead.
If you are planning to try Puradak in Carrollton, chili mayo is a solid recommendation.
As for the corn so amazing and cheese balls, it may come down to personal taste.
Overall, this visit showed both the strengths and the inconsistencies of the menu, making it a useful experience for future orders.
