I finally found a place that deserves to be in my “must try spot” category, and that place is Koji Sushi in Denton.
After three visits, Koji Sushi is one of the best sushi spots in Denton that I’ve personally tried.
This was my third visit, and at this point, I can confidently say that I haven’t found another sushi spot in Denton that feels this consistently good.
I’ve had a good experience here before, but this visit really confirmed it for me.
First Impression Still Matters at Koji Sushi Denton
From the moment I sat down, the experience started on a good note.
They bring out a simple salad with dressing before the main dishes.
It’s a small detail, but it actually does a great job of getting your appetite going.
It made the whole meal feel a bit more complete rather than just jumping straight into sushi.
What I Ordered at Koji Sushi Denton
For this visit, I tried a mix of items including tuna tataki, a special roll, several nigiri, and beef yaki soba.
What stood out right away was how consistent everything felt.
Nothing felt rushed, and nothing felt like a miss.
That kind of consistency is something I value a lot, especially when it comes to sushi.
Tuna Tataki and Sushi Quality
The tuna tataki was fresh and clean in flavor.
It had that light, balanced taste that makes it easy to keep eating without getting tired of it.
The nigiri also met expectations.
The fish tasted fresh, and the rice was properly seasoned and held together well.

Out of all the yaki soba dishes I’ve had, this one easily stands out as one of the best.

After coming here three times, the quality has stayed reliable every time.

After three visits, Koji Sushi in Denton has fully earned its place as a must try spot for me.
The sushi is consistently good, the dishes are well balanced, and nothing feels out of place.
The beef yaki soba alone is worth coming back for.
If you are looking for one of the best sushi spots in Denton, this is definitely a place you should try.
At this point, I already know I’ll be coming back again.
